The Provost asks that each college have 15% of their tenured and tenure-track faculty at commencement. Dean Vanden Bout expects that faculty attending the university-wide ceremony also attend the relevant CNS ceremony for your department. Having our faculty as part of the procession, platform party, and recognition of our students is an essential contribution to sharing the community of the College with our students, families and alumni.
Regalia should not be a limiting factor in faculty participation. CNS will cover the rental costs as needed for you to reach 15% participation.
