Undergraduate Research Assistant - Dr. Ellington Lab Fall and Spring Semester
Job Description: Assist with overall lab organization and administration, and archiving of data. Opportunities in the longer term for participating in research projects, as desired.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare buffers for lab use
- Assist with organizing lab reagents, stocks, and research materials
- Keep spreadsheets of lab stocks and research data
- Interface with lab server and University Box archives
- Update publication and patent information for research progress reports
Qualifications:
- Strong Work Ethic
- Highly organized, with an ability to plan ahead
- Flexible schedule
- Facility with Excel and similar programs
- Interest in science and technology a plus, but not necessary
Hourly Rate: $20.00
Working Conditions:

Work-Study Undergraduate Research Assistant - Dr. Sullivan lab through Fall 2026
Job Description: This position is critical to running a biomedical research lab that focuses on viruses, immunity, and cancer.
Responsibilities:
- Bacterial culture plate prep
- Media prep
- Autoclaving consumables
- Inventory management
- Laboratory upkeep
- Molecular assays
Qualifications:
- Reliability
- Interested in pursuing a career in biomedical research or health professions
- Coursework in the sciences
- Laboratory experience in research labs or course not required but desirable
- Previous work experience in any area not required but desirable
Hourly Rate: $13.00 + based on experience
Hours per week: 10 hours per week
