The Molecular Biosciences Department hosts Dr. Jeffrey Barrick for his Promotion Seminar.
Dr. Jeffrey Barrick is an Associate Professor at the University of Texas at Austin. His lab investigates Engineering Insect Symbionts, Honeybees: Protecting Pollinator Health, Aphids: Understanding the Evolution of an Endosymbiont and Leafhoppers: Studying and Engineering Natural Nanomaterials. He is hosted by Dr. Andrew Ellington.
Dr. Barrick's Seminar, "Turning bugs into Features: Engineering Insect Symbionts" will be held on Tuesday, August 22 at 12:00 PM in NHB 1.720 with a pizza reception to follow at 1:00 PM.
