Description
Dr. Thomas R. Cech is a Distinguished Professor of Biochemistry, the Director of the Interdisciplinary Quantitative Biology PhD Program, and a Member of the Department of Biochemistry and BioFrontiers Institute at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is also an Investigator for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, a 1989 Nobel Prize in Chemistry winner, and a 1995 National Medal of Science winner. Dr. Cech is hosted by Dr. David Taylor and Grace Hibshman.
Dr. Cech’s seminar, “RNA: New Medicines and the Quest to Unlock Life’s Deepest Secrets” will be held on, Thursday. September 12 at 12:00 PM in NHB 1.720 with a pizza reception to follow at 1:00 PM.
