Title: “Virus-inspired protein-DNA nanoparticles”

The Prof. Armando Hernandez-Garcia was born in Mexico City on 1981. In 2007 he got a BSc. degree in Chemistry in the Chemistry School of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Later in 2009 a MSc. degree in Lund University, Sweden with Prof. Sara Linse in the department of Biophysical Chemistry. In 2014 obtained his PhD working in the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry and Soft Matter of Wageningen University in the Netherlands under the supervision of Prof. Martien Cohen Stuart. In 2014 he received the prestigious award PEW biomedical Fellowship for Latin Americans to carry his postdoctoral research in the lab of Prof. Samuel Stupp in Northwestern University in Chicago, USA. In 2017 he entered to the Chemistry Institute of the UNAM to start his career as independent researcher leading the lab of Biomolecular Engineering and Bionanotechnology.
